Project Narrative
When you are a boutique basketball agency, you need to spend extra time convincing the players and their families that they should trust you with their careers. The initial first impression is very important, and that’s where the website comes in. The Neustadt Group was trying to improve their online presence and make it easier for a player to find them. They changed their name to TNG Basketball and hired Weber to redesign their website. We worked on everything from messaging to layout to photo choice and developed two concepts.
The two concepts we created, “High Class” and “High Energy” both focused on benefit messaging and highlighting the relationships they have with the players they represent. Each included a timeline of their player’s accomplishments and bios for their team and partnerships.
Visually, “High Class” was darker. Featuring black and white photography with navy overlays and pops of teal and yellow throughout. “High Energy” featured full-color photos with a texture overlay. Solid sections of the teal and yellow broke up the heavy photo use. The client went with the “High Energy” concept for their website.
